AXION Adhesives LLC was founded by James Krogdahl, a veteran in adhesives engineering. James worked for Henkel for 11yrs and was based in Australia, USA and China, developing and testing adhesives for multiple market segments, and specializing in consumer electronic devices. After Henkel, he worked for 6yr at Apple and 6yr at Meta developing and specifying adhesives for the iPhone (and all other Apple products) and AR/VR devices. With this extensive adhesive experience, he saw a need for easier access to higher performance custom adhesives, and founded Axion Adhesives.
Axion Adhesives is based in California and has distribution in USA, Taiwan, China and Vietnam. Axion exclusively represents adhesive manufacturers that offer unique chemistry and high performance. The core area of expertise is in structural adhesive bonding & sealing and we serve a broad market, with a focus on consumer electronics and automotive applications.
With over 50years of combined engineering experience, Axion engineers can assess your adhesive needs and support all stages of the build process; from bonded joint design and CAD support, to troubleshooting adhesive issues on the production line. Axion has engineers based in both the US and China and can provide local support in the San Francisco Bay area, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
